A few pics of the Cyclops' out before winter

First up is the 2284 and 1864 (snow mover) parked side by side for a photo shoot. I wanted to get them both out before the snow fell, I don't like my machines sitting too long between running. The next two are "rear end" pics of the two. I get a kick out of how wide and "beefy" the 2284 is compared to the tower the 1864 is :biggrin2: Enjoy guys! :beerchug:

All kidding aside, nice tractors you have there.

Nice duo Ryan!:beer2:

Looks good, Ryan!!:beerchug:

I have an off topic question, sorry. Did you have to remove the foot rest rubbers to put the front cab mount brackets on? I'm afraid too! :biggrin2: I mean they are only 21 years old!:NailBite:

I removed the foot rest black rubber mat on my 1993 cubs to repaint the foot rest. One 1863 bought new and a 1864. I used armorall. It is a rubber weatherstrip protectant for auto detailing. The rubber nubs came out without tearing.

Sam & bolivier,

I know, tell me about it. I need to stop getting more/different machines and start investing that money in accessories and upgrades for the ones I have! A nice set of Firestone 23° or Tru Powers do look pretty good on the back of a Super, maybe change out the front tires, as well. I tell you what, why don't one of you send me a set of yours so I can see if I like it and I'll send 'em riiigghhttt back :biggrin2:

Yes, I did have to remove the rubbers, but really only the front of them. The set I have has held up very well so I wouldn't worry about popping them out now and then to do some work. I actually only have one set, and moved them from the 1864 to the 2284. My plan was, since the foot rests are pretty beat up on the 1864, to remove them and paint them with a textured black paint to protect them but that hasn't happened, and with the weather going the way it is, I don't think it will this year

Thanks, Ryan! I popped them off this morning and glad I did. The left side was already up a little bit in the front. It always amazes me where crap can get.

Yeah, they tend to trap quite a bit of dirt and grime under them. Looks like you took them off just in time to do a good cleaning :beerchug:
