128
I'm trying to buy a 128 and the guy that I have been talking to, is including a 126 for parts. He says the shifter on the 128 is broke but made a comment about replacing the rear end. So my question is, will a 126 rear end go in a 128 without anything special ?

Most times it is easier to weld the broken shifter on the 128,,,, I have done two, is is REAL easy!! :bigthink:
BUT, if the machines have the same type brakes, the entire trans can be swapped, also. That is pretty easy, too!! Oh yea,,,, :Welcome2: |
The rear end should swap right in but the shifters are different, I'd pull the shifter out of the 128 and we whats up because you might just need to weld it or buy a new shifter.

Ok then it looks like there might be some duck tape around the grip and the shaft of the shifter so I might actually just need a new grip for it but the guy isn't making sense so who knows

There is information on how to repair shifter in tech section
