Belly blade
I have a belly blade. it has ben sitting around for many years. its off a allis chalmers. (forgive my spelling)would the belly blade fit a 126 cub with out modifying it or is it a lost cause
|
You can make anything fit with some Fabrication, Welding, Metal, Cutting Torch, Tools, and some hardware.
Without pictures, that is the best one can do. |
thanks I can fabricate anything outta metal.but wasn't sure if anyone else has one they use.since I haven't found a snow blade for it yet.
|
A belly blade won't work for snow because the front tires are so close to the blade. As the snow builds up it will start to lift the tractor and eventually it will become saddlebagged. Also as the snow builds up it will quickly pack snow around the front tires causing you to lose steering. I only know this because I know a guy that has one and watched it happen, there's was 2 to 3" of snow on the ground and he made it 20ft before he lost steering and another 10 ft before it was saddlebagged which required about 20 minutes of shoveling and messing around to get it free.

Man if it weren't for my obsession for these fine machines and this bunch of great people on here, giving you a "that a boy" every once and awhile, and reading and seeing what other members are doing to their equipment. It makes a body good. What the heck you supposed to do, sit in a chair and watch life pass you by? Man the clock is ticking, faster every day. I know this first hand, and ain't but one clock, and I'll be damned if it's stopping while I still got one good hand to use. |
i still got pretty good use of my hands lose of some usage.and some in my legs but I do ok I think.i get yelled at a lot lol.cause im stubborn.but still she said get a newer version of a cub so that's a good thing.
