Snow thrower attachment.

Just moved to northern Ohio. I own a 1450. Currently looking at a 450 2-stage and a QA42. Any advice on what works best??? I've never had a reason to own or use one...lived in GA and AL for a long time. I know the 450 unit is going to take some modification but not exactly sure what; so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

Hi Jerel

Not only will need one of those choices on snow removal ( the QA-42 is a single stage snow THROWER & the 450 is a two stage snow BLOWER ) you will also need chains and weight. Wheel weights and/or fluid filled tires are easier to the rear axle bearings.

Here's a video of my 125 ( 12 hp ) with my QA-42. I have fluid filled tires and chains.
