Hydro handle removal
 

Anyone have any good ideas on how to remove the handle from the Hydro shaft?
Removed the set screw , but the handle will not budge.
I don’t want to damage the handle or break it off.
Went to the search site and got some ideas.
The handle is only pot metal , so can I put heat to it and pry it up with a bar?
Any other ideas are welcome.

sounds like you are off to a good start.I pb blast the crap out of it.Wiggling and jiggling it helps get it going.The handle that is.
I heard some guys using a ball joint separator,but you have to protect the dash from damage.
