Howdy big John again from PA. I have a bad oil leak and I pulled the 301 and changed the oil pan gasket, and the gasket on the breather behind the carb and while I was at it put a new head gasket on, put it all back together and it runs fantastic BUT lots of oil coming from the flywheel area, quite a bit of oil, it runs down all over the engine tins and the holes on the rear tin where you have access to the head bolts gets oil all over it. its off a 129. any suggestions on where the oil is coming from, thanks in advance

Sounds like a crankshaft seal.

That would be my guess also. If your removing the engine again I'd go ahead and replace both the front and rear crank seals.
