What to do ? K-321A
149 that my son would like to restore as original as possible .
We have the engine off . The carb has been rebuilt . Should we try to see if the engine will start , or do we just go a head and take it apart . Our first thought was pull the head to see what has built up and replace head gasket . This thing turns free , but has sat many years . thanks for your advice |
Pull the head and clean it up. See what it looks like and go from there.

I agree that you should at least pull the head and see what the bore looks like and the valve condition also. If You have never run the engine and or if its sat for a long time it may need a rebuild.
