I am new to Cub Cadets. I just recently saved my 104 from my moms back yard after i cleaned the carb put in fresh gas she runs good. I put new belts on her and she even cuts my yard very well. I couldn't be happier with this tractor, but i don't know a lot about them. I'm learning as I go. I bought a plow that would "fit" my tractor it but it does not. I think it was maid for the wide frame mowers. It's only off buy a inch so. I'm going to have guy I know move the mounts and weld them on and weld some of the plow cause its old as well. Some of the welds are pulling apart, but I was really hopping someone had a 104 plow. I could see pics of so I know what I have that is wrong. I think its just the bars that click into the quick connect thing thanks for any help I can receive.

Welcome to OCC.

Look in the Tech section under implements, there should be pictures of the different front blade sub-frames.

Please don't hack up a good Wide Frame sub-frame, they don't make them any more and however many of them there are in circulation is all there will ever be.

Put an ad in the wanted section and try to trade what you have for what you need. There should be quite a few of them in Michigan.

Welcome to OCC. I picked up my first Cub, a 104 :biggrin2: ) back in July. So far it has been a lot of fun.

Sampson73---Welcome to OCC! This is a great place to learn about CC's. By all means, don't mess with the subframe, trade it for one that fits!

Todd is correct. Punctuation is very important, especially if we consider the phrase, "Let's eat grandma!" and "Let's eat, grandma!". :biggrin2:

:Welcome2: We would love to see some pics of your cub 104 and plow setup so that we could possibly offer advice. I, too, have a 104 and grin from ear to ear every time I'm wheeling around on it.

I went through and straightened out the punctuation. I hope I kept his intent intact.

BTW Sampson - a plow is something that you pull behind a tractor. What you are describing is a "dozer or front blade". Makes it easier to understand. :ThumbsUp:

Thanks for all the comments. I will try and work on my punctuation. It has never been my strong point that's for sure. Now back to the tractor, I can already see that I have a lot to learn. I'll take some pics of both the tractor and the blade I have. I also posted on craigslist to see if i can find the sub frame that is for my tractor.

Here in PA its referred to as a snow plow regardless of what its on.

:biggrin2: Here in Michigan too. It is used either way. But, IH has always called it a "blade".
