1650 Dieseling

I keep having a problem with my 1650 running/dieseling after I turn it off. It only does this when its warmed up or hot. I searched up on the googles why it would do this and it came up with a lot of results and I would rather ask the experts on here. :biggrin2:

I plan on using this tractor for blowing snow this winter and sucking up leaves this fall and I don't want to deal with it doing this everytime I use it. Any help is appreciated. :beerchug:

I can adjust the carburetor but timing I may need help with as I have never done it before but I am open to learning how. Are we talking points or valves? I can handle points. Not very familiar with valve timing.

check your point adjustment. sometimes the head gets carbon build up up to and that aggravates the problem. carbon gets hot spots and starts to burn the fuel when you turn the ignition off.

Thanks a ton, dvogtvpe. I will do that when I get the chance.
