New spreader
 

My friends mom sold her house and was having a huge garage sale and I scored this for $30, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet but couldn't pass up an older implement for a good price. I plan to paint it cub colors and kinda felt bad about it because its so nice but when I was degreasing it to get 15 years of dust off it the red paint actually started to come off. I think its gonna look good in yellow and white with an international decal on the back like the tillers have.

good score. it sure beats buying new things now. the prices are crazy and what you get is junk mostly.

I love old equipment. Sears stuff was made well, and last for a long time!! Congrats on the score!

Tim, not telling you what to do, but if it was mine I'd paint it to look like the old #10 IH grain drills. Decals and all. Maybe even make a lid.... :bigthink:

I also scored 2 old galvanized gas cans that are also in awesome shape for $15 for the pair.

Now there's an idea; get an older drop seeder with the spike aerator built in and paint it up nice and pretty :beerchug:
