Rebuilt K321 14hp First Run Video
Well my first attempt at rebuilding an old Kohler single-cylinder seems to be a success. New Kohler pistons, rings and rod and bored .30 over. Fired off almost immediately and is purring like a kitty.

Nice video! Always a great feeling to fire 'em up the first time after major engine work or a rebuild. Congrats! :beerchug:

Thanks guys, and yes it's a great feeling when they come to life. Of course new parts and a new bore make a lot of difference, but it definitely runs smoother with the balance gears out.
I think I may just make it before winter. |
Runs great, nice work.:beer2:

Sounds excellent. I have one in my 149 if you would like to do another. Should be a snap for an old pro like you!:biggrin2:

Sounds good to me. Cool video. :beerchug:

Is that the gas tank with all the pin holes you had to repair?

Nice job Saturn. I like your paint work too. You're getting there. Takes time but it pays off.
