Discontinued parts
Where does everyone get parts that are no longer being manufactured? I broke a control release arm while taking my 106 apart and after about 3 months of hunting for a new one I've decided to just CNC machine a new one off of a casting that I made from the old one.

There are sponsors listed at the top of the page. They can usually hook you up with parts. If not, there's evil-pay, local mower "graveyards". Or, like your doing..... make them. Good used us usually the cheapest option, but there are just some parts that you just can't find easily. The one you broke doesn't sound like it should be hard to find at all if I understand what you are talking about.... :bigthink:

The part I've been trying to find is #15 in this breakdown.

Oh yeah. The sponsors will have that. Put up a wanted ad in the "for sale section" someone on here may even have one to part with. That shouldn't be hard to get at all.

I have a 106 I'm parting out so if you post a pic of exactly what your looking for I probably have it.

I appreciate the offer and next time I need a part I'll be sure to post it on here before I go through all the trouble that I have been through making a casting already. Live and learn right.
