Going back to work after 2 months!!
As much fun as living the Cub life is.....it's time to get back to normal life. As some of you may have read I had a kidney transplant 2 months ago to the day. Well today the doc said I can go back to work on "light duty." I'll take it easy at work, but man will it be nice to not be at home all the time. Not to mention making some money. Anyway, thought I'd share what's going on in my life.

Glad to hear that things are getting better for you! Do take it easy so you're not going backwards with the recovery.

TWO months of Cub life, and you only have 478 posts!!?? :bigthink:
I would have thought your two index fingers would have been bloody!! :biggrin2: Glad to hear you are going back to work!! :High5::Work: |

Glad your going back to work, someone has to pay taxes so us old retired farts can sit on our butts and relax. Just don't over do it. Mac |
I'd love to go back to work, this sitting at home is for the birds:bash2: But on the other hand I guess its nice to be retired at 35....

Good luck with your return to work Brent.

Happy return to work... Work is a wonderful thing.
I thought I would retire as soon as I hit 62 but I don't want to. We have short life spans in my family but after spending an entire week at home I couldn't wait to get back to work. I guess it's difficult to break a 42 year routine, at least for me. Maybe I'll think about it in 5 or 6 years. The best part about all this is you've recovered very well! |
Great to hear the Dr knows you've done well enough to return to work after two months. :beerchug:

Great News Brent! Have fun not being home. :beerchug:
