Different rustoleum whites
 

I need to do a little painting and have a question. From what I've read the rustoleum "canvas white" is a fairly good match to the early IH white, and the "almond" is a good match to the later white. I know it won't be a perfect match just curious. I would think the canvas white is close to 901, and almond 902?? What about 935? I just need to do some small pieces, so it's not really that important, but if I have a choice might as well get the closest one I can.

I found this online....
"IH used three colors of white in the production of the Cub Cadets. IH #901 white was used from SN# 501 to SN# 218009.........IH #902 White was used from SN#218010 to SN#375938.........IH #935 White was used from SN# 375939 till the end of the RED 82 series Cub Cadet production in 1985."

Just looked and there is a dealer 14 miles from me. Not sure how big of a dealer they are, will call in the morning. If they don't do this kind of thing, the next closest one is over an hour away.
This will still be good info to those who have no dealer close by.

Just went to rustoleum's website and couldn't find anything about canvas white. The most recent post on here about it is from July, so not that long ago. I found almond, but no canvas. I wonder if it's even still available. Might not have ANY rustoleum options other than almond.

What I found was rustoleum "canvas white" was still available at Lowes or Home Depot

I used Rustoleum epoxy almond geared toward appliances with great results.:beerchug:

bolivier,,,,,,The wheels on this tractor are Rustoleum canvas white,and the white on the hood/dash/grill shell is Rustoleum almond. The Almond is more buttery colored than the canvas white. The canvas white seems to be a near match for the original white color on a 106 hood.

I used Rustoleum epoxy Biscuit on my 2 Haban decks. I'm happy with it. :beerchug:

I use the Almond. Closest match to the original shade on my 1980's vintage Cubs.
