Loader quick attach
4 Attachment(s)
having a loader has come in handy more times than i can count. The bucket is great for around the house. About 3 years ago i made a snow plow for the kwik way loader, then few months ago i made a set of forks. so now i have 3 attachments for the loader. it started to get real annoying having to try and line up 4 pins from one attachment to another. Since i had such good luck building the quick attach backhoe i decided i was going to build a quick attachment loader frame. One half of the idea came from the universal skid steer quick attach. The other i got from the way John Deere makes their quick attach loader. Takes me 30 seconds to put on or take off the attachment. Here are a few pictures of the forks with my quick attach hooked up...
Next I will be modifying my bucket for the quick attach setup. |

I really want to try this with my loader. I just don't want to modify the original Johnson bucket. If I do go with the QA design it'd be just like yours. How Deere does theirs with the two pin style. Great job!!!

A loader is pretty much a "uni-tasker" without a quick attach, great work!! :beerchug:

i had a grin from ear to ear today wile i hooked up and unhooked the forks a dozen times in just a few minutes. im going to make a video of the setup tomorrow.
a new bucket might be in the works too. the rounded back of the KW bucket doesn't look like its going to work with out having the bucket be a good 6 inches further away from the mount. flat back and flat bottom is the direction ill be looking in. |
