Pics of my 1211 and 1200 with modified engine
 

Here's a couple pics taken after mowing today my 1211 with k301aqs from a jd mower and my 1200 with a temporary k321 from a jd mower. Kinda figures the jd mowers wear out long before the engines! This k321 is the one I asked about modifying awhile back. Yes I am hard headed and like a challenge so I did just the opposite of what Jonathan told me. I ground the pto side smooth with an angle grinder then marked out the bolt holes with a centering punch for the pto to mount drilled the holes out on my drill press then tapped them. I used a level on the block when drilling to be sure I was drilling a straight hole, you have to be careful and not drill to far. Drive the seal in alittle deaper , bolted on the pto used some spacers to put the cap screw on the end of the crank. I also removed the balance gears . Mowed for two hours no problems looks like I'm good to go! Now to overhaul the original k301 that was in it and keep the k321 as a spare!
