Just picked up a 70!
At least it is marked a model 70. Has a k181 engine so . . .?
also needs S/G work and someone moved the throttle from the dash to the tunnel. My arm is in a cast so mostly looking for now, not much hands on for awhile. some pics: http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/...psemm140iw.jpg http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0uxhsvrh.jpg http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/...psqee6wfis.jpg http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/...psp6exzlix.jpg http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4vuhdhvk.jpg :beer2: |
Sweet. I love my 100. I usually just putt around on it. There is just something cool about them. Is that a craftsman sleeve hitch adapted to fit? Are there headlights under the hood? Wish mine had fenders, but we can't have everything.
edit: Now I see those are some custom fenders. Look pretty good. Most of the custom ones I've seen would have looked better had been left off. I do like the clamshell fenders though. |
Nice find on the 70.

Congrats on the 70.

Thanks all,
I see the regulator in this picture but that thing on the left? It might be a horn. http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/...psfgx1menc.jpg |
Nice model 70! I'm sure it would clean up well. Hope your arm gets better so you can get to the 70!
p.s. You just gotta love having an all-gear IH Cub Cadet in your line up! :American Flag 1: |

Serial # 116xxx dates to 1965. The engine is a k181 so it must have been repowered at some point. deck looks like 42" but those deckwheels don't appear correct, seem too big. |
You bought it!
I told the fellow you bought this from that I wanted this tractor and was going to pick it up this morning but seen to many miss matched parts so I passed. Did you buy the Case he had there?
