LED lights on a quiteline
Has anyone replaced the sealed headlights on QL cub for the new round LED sealed units? Currently am doing a bunch of mowing at dusk/dark, and looking for some opinions and options for getting a brighter lamp but remaining some what stock. Thanks

You can. NBD. Have you priced them?
I mow/push snow after dark all the time and I have no issues seeing with the stock lights...... Maybe they are just old and need replaced. Lets see, $9 for standard bulbs..... $30 for LED's..... :bigthink: I promise, they aren't that much better. |

Ive used the stock headlights in my quietlines as well as a few narrow frames and to be honest they light up just as good if not better then the low beams on my datsun pickup (also sealed beam) I have seen some aftermarket led running/fog lights and they dont impress one bit....

I'm not sure if these would work but I think they like them over on WFM. Why is it all the Deere guys get the good stuff?
http://jdleds.com/products.html Didn't someone on here use some lights off of a Harley? |

I'll keep my sealed beams, thanks. (Not picking on you Todd) I'm just not dropping that kind of $$$ on lights!! |
I hear ya J. It would have to be something special to drop that on some lights. I was just throwing that out there, you know those Deere guys got lots o money tied up in their machines.:biggrin2:

They seem to be great, but again; nobody wants to pay $110 for a single darn light. Amazon purchase page: http://www.amazon.com/Grote-63821-5-...ywords=63821-5 Data sheed on them: http://www.grote.com/prodcat/attachm...6InfoSheet.pdf Another forum's member review of them in a Wheel Horse: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/c...pared-oem.html |
I also have no issues with the stock lights. The look great and work great. One more thing that's not broken that doesn't need to be fixed.
