Any interest in planters?
 

I guess this is the right place to post this since I'm not actually selling anything in this post.

I have the opportunity to buy an International toolbar planter that could have the individual row units set up for mounting to a Cat. 0 3-point. My cost would be $300 per row and there are some extra seed plates for each unit. You would be responsible for building the 3-point mount, which is just a piece of square tubing standing on it's corner (think diamond when viewed from the end) and the 3-point frame. Basically if I could get my $300 per unit back I would be happy, because I want one for myself and have to buy the whole thing to get it. Would there be any interest in these if I bought it?

They would be great for planting your sweet corn or for food plots. If you're real serious about planting, they should be compatible with older IH seed monitors.

i think your best bet to generate interest would be to posts pics so everybody can see what your talking about.

Which model planter? They have to be self drive row units. Those planters are pretty rare. If they aren't self drive, you can't do it. (Simply) Pics would be nice, yes.

They're a 295 like this one.

Your giving $300/row unit?

That's the cheapest I seem to be able to find them around here. Too high? I can find them a little cheaper, but I have to drive far enough that it absorbs all the savings.
