Fresh picked 128 & 86

Found these two gems in the middle of nowhere. 128 and 86. 128 is currently for sale, but I'm planning to keep the 86 and get the little buggar together --as much as I hate working on WFs...

:beerchug:

Would someone also be able to tell me a little more about it? I've heard it's a rare bird --but what do I need to get it going again? What you see is what is there, except for the carb, head, and air-filter --which I have.

Thanks

Nice scores Dane. Model 86 is fifth rarest production numbers at 8489 produced. Looks like you're going to need some parts. Looks like no motor in the 86 from the pictures? Air filter housing and muffler are specific too I believe. Both looks to have real good sheet metal and fiberglass. Are those fenders good? You still need manual tunnel cover, and a couple of the small side panels by the clutch but kinda hard to tell from pics. Overall they look real nice and original

Nice find on the pair.
The 86 motor is an 8 hp and it is specific to the tractor, it has a longer crankshaft and a different s/g bracket.
What are your plans for it?

Nice score on the 86 and 128.

Thanks, guys. I have the original air-filter, but other than that I have none of the other 86-specific parts. I'm currently keeping my eye out for an engine for one. I plan to keep it and slowly piece it back together.

If you could, and please PM me. I would certainly appreciate it.

Nice find. Welcome to the 86 club. I scored mine in my mother in law's barn. I ask her if I could have it and she said to come get it. It needs an exhaust valve (it was torn down when I got it). I believe it's a K181. Only non original on mine is the seat that's been replaced with a none Cub one.
