So now that I finally have help to mow the yard, I just wanted to get back on the cub.

Cool pic.

Whenever my son or wife use my cubs I always fear they are going to break something or run them into a tree. My boy is 18, and I still get nervous LOL..

My wife wanted to mow half of our yard a few weeks ago, and I was like "but I've been waiting all week to mow...."

Having a restored Cub Cadet to use to cut the grass makes it almost enjoyable.

Now I understand why my father in law would tell us (20 years ago) when he was planning to visit, "Don't cut the grass, I'll do it when we get there."

Your boy is 18 and you don't "trust" him on your mower?

I started mowing with dad's cub cadet at about 7, driving a tractor farming at 13, running a combine at 16 and had a class A CDL at 19. Then came backhoe's, dozers, trackhoes and other construction equipment. I guess everyone is different.

Well I trust him more than anyone I know but to him (and my wife) these are just lawn mowers. My guess is that's true for a lot of us on here:bigthink:

Yeah ..... A lawn mower that can pull a house down if hitched right ! Or at least make a man cry !
