Take out the engine or?
|
Use a hacksaw.hehe
now you know the answer is to look in the manual . Maybe someone else can chime in and help you out if you do not want to go that route. |

There's an easy way and a hard way. I just can't remember which way is which. I have bought tractors that appeared to have been worked on by jokers like you two. :biggrin2: |
I think pulling the rear is easier than pulling the engine. It's a matter of personal option.

FWIW.
I knocked the pins out of the rear coupler to the pump. Slid the coupler and fan forward on the shaft and lifted the driveshaft straight up and out. |
That is how I do it!!

sounds like you did it like this:
http://cubfaq.com/qldriveshaft.html I'll be doing it on my 1450 one of these days. I need to replace the fan and will do rag joints while I'm in there. |

I'd slide the engine forward if I couldn't finagle it out otherwise. |
