S/G correct color
 

I'm going to redo my 71 and wonder if the S/G is supposed to be black or yellow. I've seen examples both ways.

go to page 5 and it looks like it would be yellow. ( picture is black and white but it's light colored )

it should be yellow

Wide frames were the first to use black s/g's correct?

based off the old ads i would say thats correct

The later 1X6 and 1X7 's had black ones also.

Was the wiring harness painted yellow too?

I am wondering how bad the rattle-can resto on my 102 was. I think I read somewhere that the harness was installed before paint:bigthink:

I've had plenty of tractors that still had the original wiring with no paint on it so I doubt that's true.
