Now who's going to fight over this one?
That's not far from here, if someone wires me the cash, I'll pick it up for them.:biggrin2: Check out the battery box side:bigthink:
Only cost $3200 and change to "restore" what are these people on?

Must have used gold plating instead of yellow paint. I'd be the first to agree that it is costly and time consuming to restore a cub but not near what that guy claims he spent. Sounds to me like the wife said get rid of that thing and he posted it like that so it would not sell.

If that is his shop, I would say he does not need to sell it and just listed it high.
If he gets that price he is happy.
If not, he is happy.

Where do folks come up with these prices? :bigthink:

I think the Chinese are in control of our pricing, AC....:biggrin2:

They must also be in control of the painting, too, because for that price I want the footrests painted their original color!!

Cub Cadet 123

For those prices I could afford one of it's bigger brothers. The 125 is nice, but it needs a yellow starter. The black one sticks out like a sore thumb IMO.

as im reading this post ,I look over and see a flyer next to me for mowers from sears and start to chuckle, picturing the cub next to this overpriced junk and start thinking this guys price isn't bad compared to new stuff that may last 3 years lol.

I think you will keep seeing these crazy priced Cubs and it will keep driving the prices of other cubs higher and higher. People will see these ads and when they see Cubs at a more normal price they will jump on them. What us regular addicts consider high will be low to people who don't know. I know it will drive up prices but also drive up the value of what we now have. So if you find one that is a good deal jump on it. I feel the prices will only continue to go up.

I looked at the ad again and I wonder what's with the giant black decal on the tunnel cover? Did the "restorer" buy the decal kit and install everything that comes with it? I know that some suppliers of the 147 decal kit include one that goes on a WF tunnel cover, and maybe they bought from the same supplier.

The yellow lift handle looks weird too.
