Easy fix for Cyclops side panels.
2 Attachment(s)
Tabs broke off of your Cyclopes side panels? I like the factory look as much as possible. And didn't want to put holes all the way through the side panel and have a bolt head sticking out the side. Picture of one before and one I already fixed. Get a drill bit that fit the hole where the tab is broke. run it through, keep strait with original hole. use old tab as a guide. Then cut the old tab off flush. Now you have to clean out that plastic on the back side. I started out with a die grinder. After cleaning the bulk of it out with the die grinder. Now I used a piece of flat brass. Sniped the end to give it the right angle. And heated it up red hot and sliced and pulled the rest of the plastic out of the corners. Then grind one side of the head off a bolt even with the shaft. Might have t run the bit through again to clean it out. Then slide the bolt in. And finish it with a rubber o-ring or a piece of rubber hose. The rubber will help absorb shock and also aline the bolt in the huge hole in the grill. Screw on a washer and wing nut.
