582 help
 
I picked up a 582 and it wasn't running. Cleaned the carb and got it to run but I need to get a carb rebuild kit. Also did a compression test it has 90 psi both sides which seems low to me, so my question is can I rebuild it? or should I re-power it? Tractor is going to be used for a loader project so am looking for thoughts...

I'd re-power it. IMO, a B&S isn't worth the trouble. Especially that one, with the "killer valve seat" problems.
