1250 not charging?
 

Got the girl out today. Some fool left the key on... so I jumped her with my van. Started right up! But about the time I got the cables off and put away, backed the van out she died? Odd. Repeated the procedure but left the van running for maybe 5 minutes. Made it all the way out to the most difficult part of the yard to get to to retrieve the girl and she died. :(

Turned over maybe once and started clicking.

Gave up and came inside to plant flowers with my 5 month old granddaughter!

Thinking about it, the battery is new from last year. But even if the battery was bad it should run okay on the charging system...? Right?

So I need to go back thru the electrical to determine if it's charging or not?

I would put the battery on a 2 amp charge for a good 12 hours. Tractor charge system may not have enough juice to recover it. And yes, check charging of battery while running, the key on constant May have cooked the rectifier but get the battery well first.

Charge your battery FULLY...!!!! Then start and run your tractor.
