New OEM tiller tines

Guys

IHCCW has tiller tines. I just ordered a set for my 1A. You'll love this, although they are NLA per the Cub parts site they are still available per Marvin. Gotta love Cub. Anyway here is the link for the tines.

So, he has more than one set? I had looked at those, but thought that he had only one set. Is he having them made along with the muffler for the 169? :bigthink:

He told me he can still get them from Cub. I bought a complete set and he said he has more. All I can say is if you need them go ahead and order them.

Hey Sam, plugged that number from CCW into the site you get cub parts from (Cub Cadet Parts and More)...... Apparently, they are still available form CCC. They also come up on Cubs website. Like $1.00 cheaper than his price, but apparently the part numbers have changed. They use that "WM" number. When you get them, see who is making them. :bigthink: Not that that is a bad price, just want to ALWAYS be able to get them in case CCC doesn't want to offer them anymore.

I bought my tiller tines from the international dealership I used to work for. They were about $11 for a left and a right. It seems the tines were used on a farm tiller as well so they were not exclusive to the international Cub cadet tillers.

The tines showed up today from IHCCW. Good service. They look good, have not checked the fit yet. Been busy with the honey do list and the BIL's LT2180. Will report back later with a couple pics.

Pics of the tines. They are about 1/2" shorter than the original tines but other wise they fit just fine.

How did you determine that you wanted new tines. I have 3 1A tillers and want to keep the best one.

My old tines are worn down to almost nothing. Pretty simple.

Got the new tines installed today. One minor clearance issue, standing behind the tiller the 2 tines on the left side of the chain case were just hitting two bolts for the chain case up under the cover. Had to take about 1/8" off the ends of the tines with a grinder. All good now. :beerchug:

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.
