How to remove chain link
Stumped on how to remove the chain link between the hydraulic control valve and the lever rod. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your reply. I guess I'm going to have to learn how to post photos on this forum. Mine doesn't look like your photo. It's not open on the end as your photo shows. There's now way to move the link in the direction to reach the larger diameter opening. I took a photo, just have to get it on here.

It's the same principal as shown in the picture above. If a small flat head screwdriver won't pop it off I have used a small pick. But if using the pic be gentle and make sure the retainer clip is still flat when before re installing it

Shoot some PB on it then get a screw driver in the slot where the red arrow is in this pic and hit it in the direction of the arrow.
