What is the thumb screw size for the side panels on the 1000. I don't want to pay 5 bucks a piece at the mower shop

I am almost certain they are 1/4"-20's.

i just got the plastic knobs from the local ace...work better and look nicer than those anyways, in my opinion....yes 1/4-20 thread
