This was a local craigslist find... Getting like lew now:biggrin2:
Not running, po said engine was rebuilt in the 90s and was painted red. he said it was his last cub out of 10 he had for his seeding business, no implement lift handle. This tractor used to have an auxiliary hydro lift for a seeder on the back, so it has a coupler connect.:biggrin2:

It's all cut out because he said he used to have a counter weight on the front,:angry: I don't know yet if I will leave it alone or replace it, the grill casting that is , not the frame, but the 12hp engine is worth what I paid, no pto clutch either.:bash2:Oh well, who thinks I should part it out?:biggrin2:

Question: there is constant power to the outside post on the starter generator even with the key off, I put in a new battery, and all it does is making a clicking sound from the solenoid.:bigthink: it's not supposed to do that right? Any ideas. Oh and the generator makes a humming sound I can barely hear, and the positive battery cable needs replaced.

the s/g is humming because it does not know the words to the song.
I think you have parts machine on your hands.
my local scrap yard had four of those one time, all 128's. The one you have may have come from there.
I hope you paid fitty dollars for it.

No I didn't pay that, lol...anyway The positive cable from the solenoid to the s/ outer post is sparking and has power to it when you touch it to the s/g, it just clicks when I turn the key, is it supposed to spark like that ??? None of my others do that.:bigthink:

As much as I hate to see 'em parted, that looks like a good parts donor. Neat story behind it though. It's amazing the mods different companies do to make things work for them.
