I have a line on a 12.5 kohler command out of a 2130. I was curious if it would fit my 126. It's a great deal but really don't want to buy it if I can't use it. Oh and before you all say keep the k301 I have 2 tractors with it and another one in the shop on the shelf..

Simple answer, NO. Won't fit in the frame, PTO would have to be changed, not really room for the exhaust without mods, no room for the fuel tank, driveline changes required...... etc. Stick with the K motors. If yours is bad, I know a guy who builds them. :biggrin2:

I had planned to try and use the 126 pto, fuel tank and exhaust if possible. It's a really good deal, cheaper than rebuilding. Actually less than the parts to rebuild. This tractor is a total custom build anyway so engine mods are no major issue to me.
