105 hydro trans
Hello,
I have a 105 cadet that moves fine forwards and reverse. but when it is turned off and you push the dump lever down you can move it forward but not backwards. is this normal or is the pin stuck on the valve? Second question how do you get to the valves? the cover does not com off like other cadets. do you have to drop the trans? Thanks for the help in advance!! Jim |
No, it should roll either direction, I find it odd that the flap on the lever only pushes one valve plunger down, but anything is possible. One valve could be stuck, or the flap could be damaged.
Yup, pulling the trans and rear end is the only way to get to the valves. If you don't push the lever, will it roll forward after a few minutes of setting with the engine not running? It could have one automatic and one manual valve, just a thought. |
Ok thanks for the help.
