Speaking of PO mods...... 5 Attachment(s) Picked up a couple cubs today for parts and just had to show you guys. We talk about PO mods all the time, but these two were real beauties. Buddy of mine's 12 yr old boy apparently thinks he wants to derby lawn mowers. Or at least play with them. He had these two cubs. Now, as bad as they look the 1864 has a fairly new motor, and I had to take the 1100...... because that was the deal. Traded a running Craftsman mower that I had $150 in for these beauts. 1864 motor is going in the 682 (cause I'm scared of the KT17 in it). Power steering and lift cylinder the 582D build. Rest of the parts off both tractors will be shelved or sold (if there are any that are good). But overall I made a 12yr old kid really happy, his dad happy cause they are out of his yard, :biggrin2: and me happy, cause I got some use-able parts. Is that a Tecumseh motor in that 1100??? Not a bad haul. At tires and a good command motor are worth it! |

 You did well, Jonathan! |

I've always wanted to start a PO mod thread to showcase the most outrageous ones. That 1864 might be in the top 3. Looks like it should have been used in a Mad Max movie. |

OMG!!! That that thing is........um......um.......different. :biggrin2: Nuff iron on it. I agree with the MadMax comparison. Prolly driven by the guy with the mannequin head. Can't beat the engine and rubber. |

Operator 6 (Jonathan), that cubs make me remember what my buddy and I used to slap together for our backyard races. He'd find the Murray riders for about $20-$30 and we would doctor them up and race them in his backyard. One of funniest mods was the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine--great memories! Got to admire the kids creative nature. Snatched two more from the jaws of death--way to save them! Now, you got a good deal for that nose (headlight) piece off that 1100 since I need one? Just PM me, that is if it hasn't been thrashed yet. Cub Cadet 123 |

Oh, and the car tires on the 1100..... they are welded to the hub. :bash2::bash2: Thanks Mike, Allen and Josh! I'm happy. Lots of usable parts..... just no good tractors. :bigthink: Quote:
That's funny. This kid hopped on that mower that I traded him for, and just started riding it around. I took him with me to "pick out" a mower from 4. He kept asking me "Which one is fastest?". LOL. Kept telling him I had no idea, I'd never raced them. Sent you a PM! :beerchug: |

Nice finds Jonathan, you have to slow down with the cubs before you catch up to me hehe.:biggrin2::beerchug: |

Take the kids tools away. Looks like speakers under the hood on the Cyclops. |

Looks like some usable parts Jonathan but wow what PO's do to these sometimes!:bigthink: |
