Some pics of the 129 all back together

Finally finished the last thing on the list (besides the new list with the hitch, finish the hydro foot control pedal...). I got the my hydro release thing finished, works good - first cub of mine that has one, so hard to compare to stock. I used old feeler gauges for the fingers. Gassed it up and fired up the tractor, got the creep set and buttoned it up with the tranny cover. I solved my dilema of painting over the kids foot prints worn into the tranny cover decal. I put my kids initials on it (this is his). I replaced the butchered steering wheel decal with a peice of brushed aluminum. OK I am too cheap too buy decals - I admit it. Maybe if I paint the rest of it. Felt good tearing up the driveway!

Very nice!!!!
Can you expand on how you did the foot control? I've got a couple of Wheelhorse tractors that are hydro and a smart guy figured out a kit to convert those to foot control. I bought two of those kits and installed them. It's amazing how this mod brings an old iron tractor in to the present century and I have to believe your foot control kit might do the same. Thanks! I put 2 threads about the foot control on the customized CC section. this winter I put it on 2 - 129's and a 1250. I have only played with them, but it seems great, first time I have had a cub drifting in the snowy driveway

The mods and the tractor look great! Can you post a little more info about how you built the hydro release? Maybe some specs? I think it's a great idea and looks pretty sturdy. Thanks. Mark
