Carter carb needles
 

I picked yet another box of carbs from a garage sale that were smaller throat #'s than what's used on the 7, 8hp Kohler. In the box were high speed and idle needles, loose, not in any carb. My ? is, where can I reference the # that's on the needles to find out what carb it goes to? I have absolutely no clue where to begin. I'm guessing the carbs are either older or go to smaller engines. They do have carter stamped on them. I don't have my cheaters with, so I can't make out any of the #'s.

Without knowing what they fit (kohler, b&s, ect) it would be pretty tough to determine. Maybe if Carter were still in business :bigthink: Google time!!

Put yer cheaters on and get the numbers,
then type them into evilpay,you might get a hit with a description or try google.

probably in the Kohler carb reference manual. allot of useful stuff in there. I'd be surprised if its still in print though
