The 169 gets serviced!
4 Attachment(s)
Tonight I pushed the 169 out from the back of the garage and charged the battery, put fresh gas in, and it popped right off. Let it run for a few minutes, then took the deck off and sharpened blades, scraped out the shell, and greased the spindles. Checked the belts, greased the tractor and tested it out. Looks like its ready to go! Camera died in the deck action shots:bash2:

Glad the 169 ready for the lawn mowing season:beerchug:
We have probably two months before that time here:angry: |
Good looking 169. Agreed about the mowing season; right now it's the transition period of no snow pushing but no grass to mow, and the ground is still hard enough (and snow covered enough) to not even be thinking about tilling of any kind.

Nice looking 169.:beerchug:

The 169 looks good and ready for some action Ryan!:beerchug:

We finally have no snow here (except in the road ditches) and it has been fairly warm here with highs ranging in the high 30's to mid 50's. The grass on the south side of the house is starting to show some color again, so I figured I better get the beast out! I also serviced my 1450 last night but had no pics due to the camera dying.

Looking good, Ryan!

Looking good there Ryan, all you can do now is wait for the grass the grow.

The 169 looks ready for action Ryan. If you have a gravel drive, it might be a good time to use the blade to move the gravel back in place or grade it off, before the grass grows around it. You motivated me to try to work on mine this weekend if my schedule will permit it.

I think this weekend I will be doing some yard work even though the temps will only be in the 30s. Trimming trees and picking up limbs will be on top of the list!
