Painted vs. unpainted carburetors..that is the question!
i'm torn between if i want to paint the carburetor, or leave it unpainted. everything else is going to be painted, maybe i shouldnt paint it, just clean it so it contrasts a little?
maybe some pictures of painted carbs and unpainted clean carburetors will help :biggrin2::biggrin2: |

I don't paint mine. To me, it's one more thing that creates problems when you go to clean and rebuild one. Choke cleaner spray takes the paint off, creating lots of little pieces of paint to get inside the carb.

My vote is don't paint.

No paint on the carb. My 0.02.

No paint for the above reasons plus I like the unpainted look, but that's just personal preference :beerchug:
