My New To Me 169!
5 Attachment(s)
Well, it took me about 5 weeks to go get it, but I'm glad that I did. Here are some pics of my 169. It came with new decals for the hood and an extra can of Cub Cadet white spray paint. It has all of the correct and original goodies, except the tail lights, and seat. I noticed that it also has a cigarette lighter, but is missing the push button for it--does anyone know if a standard cigarette plug will fit into it? Looks like I'm going to have to take up another bad habit now--haven't smoked a cigarette since 3rd grade. It is my 2nd 169, but my first is missing the correct engine but the frame, etc is in better shape than this one so I may just grab the engine off of this one and put in the other one. Well, what do you think of the cub?

Very nice 169. And you have 2, I'd like to find just one. Even has the steering wheel insert, good job. How many are you up to now?

Nice find :beerchug: I would keep both but fix the nicer one. I had four 169's at one time. I ended up parting out the worst one due to some PO frame work that was not needed. Like other guy's have said, maybe you will find a 1650 motor and can convert it back over to a SG and such, and have two! I plan on restoring both of mine, leaving one manual lift and one hydro lift. :beerchug: Again, nice find!
