I picked up this 127 a while back and got a chance to work on it today.Besides what is on the video...
The frame is cracked, funny spark plug , must be for more power, never seen one before. In the process of putting a new head gasket on it. I have another 127 in need of a motor so this one will be for my parts dept. Click on the picture to start video.

That was a spacer to keep the plug away from an engine that burned oil and fouled plugs. I don't know if they worked.

Hope you get it running good Lew:beerchug:

Wow that's interesting, I've never seen one either.

That dash tin looks decent, footrests and other stuff gone already? Lew i like the parts department idea. I would like to fill out an application. :beer2:

I love the slant grilles.(1x4/1x5,1x6/1x7) They are what got me into cubs. Good looking tractor you got! :beerchug:

Yep! Anti-fouler. Hope it doesn't smoke! :beerchug:

How on earth do you completely loose those bolts? :bigthink:

The heads are actually broken off.Looks to have been that way for a long time.

That head gasket prolly was leaking for years as there was so much crud around the engine cooling fins, most of the head bolts came off with little effort. This was always a garage kept tractor and there is very little rust on it.

It looks like it's in really good shape. The first cub I ever owned was a 127. Can't seem to find one for a reasonable price, or in as good of shape as mine was. Only reason I want one is because of it being my "first". I'm really not a NF guy.

The 127 looks good Lew!
