2182 Overflow Bottle
 

I am about to replace my second coolant overflow bottle in 5 years.

Seems they just get really really brittle and it doesn't take much to break them.

Anyone else have this prob?

Is this something I should just plan on replacing every couple of years?

why not replace it with something like this...

No problems with the one on my 2182, so far but I will keep an eye on it. For what ever it's worth my 1782 doesn't have an over flow bottle. Some of the diesels had them and some don't. Just checked the cub parts site, the early 2182's do not have an overflow bottle.
