Probelm Identifying My Cub

5 Attachment(s)
Good Morning we got this tractor for free and its a beast with the plow on it. I keep bending the plow bracket, I know its not the right plow but it works for what I need it to do.

I recently upgraded the clutch components and put in a stainless steel drive shaft.

I am looking to get the right plow setup but have no idea where to start looking and what one to put on there.

Serial Number is 109609, I have no idea what the model # is could you help me please. The Year and any other information would be most helpful.

Any help is much appreciated. Bronson

here are some more pictures if you need them to help identify.

It is of the second generations of Cubs - the 70/100 Series. The were made from 1963 to 1965.

If the engine is 7 HP (Kohler K-161) then it's a model 70. If the engine is 10 HP (Kohler K-241) then it is a model 100. Other than engine size, the tractors are the same.

perfect thank you so much, I thought it was that model but it has a 16hp engine in it. If i am not mistaken it is a narrow frame (front is 11" wide)

That looks more like a 10 hp. If it had a 16 in it the frame rails would have had to been cut and angled out to accept the larger flywheel. Pretty sure what you have is a model 100 with a 10hp in it.:bigthink:

Your tractor number serial number indicates in was manufactured in late February into early March of 1965. I could understand your problems bending up the dozer blade, because your dozer blade looks like something for a lawn tractor. Usually, one can easily find the correct IH dozer blade for a fair price!

That blue hurts my eyes... What was someone thinking?

Since you are not so far from me I know that you can find a front blade for it easily.

looks like a snow blade for an ATV.

Looks like you have a 100. :beerchug:

My vote is also for 100.
