Rust bucket ?
I found a 125 and 127 on cl but they're rough.I live in inland washington which is dessert ,less than 6" of rain a year so the cubs i have obtained locally have been pretty much rust free. These two on craigslist are on the other side of the cascade range where it rains a lot. my question is ,since i haven't had to deal with this much rust before, Are they too far gone ? this 125 would give me one of each series up to quietline.I've been looking for some time ,should i continue to search? BTW ,can I say go seahawks..........

127 might be salvage-able. I'd pass on the 125.

The 125 has ag tires and a rear three point hitch. A good buy at $150

In all honest I have used and am using much worse..... personally I wouldn't be scared of eather

Not many cubs your way so if you want them I would get both!:beer2:
The 125 is BO too so I'm sure he would take less. |

I would get them both, they are in the same place. Heck offer him $175 for both you can always go up. look at it from the parts point of view. taking them apart and selling the parts alone they are worth the money. the 127 has a power lift on it. 125 has ag tires and rear reflectors. there is a lot of good parts for even $250 he is asking for both together. If those were in South Dakota or even close I would be at his door step waiting for him to wake up.

The 125 looks like it has lead a hard life, possibly on a farm. I have seen farm machines rusted worse than any car driven in the salt.
I agree if the price is right, buy them both, parts are only going to get harder to get. Greg |
