Hello all. I have no idea what I'm doing on this forum but I have a bunch of questions and thought I would start by posting here. Figure if I messed it up it wouldn't be a big deal. A co-worker gave me a 100 that I am tearing down and fixing/rebuilding. I am rebuilding a 1958 chevy truck also which was rusty but I have never seen rusted together parts as on this tractor. Amazing the strength of rust. I look forward to being helped and helping where I can. Thanks everyone.

Welcome, Pete
Put on the coffee, pull up a chair and stay awhile. :coffee: It is a shame, but some owners treated their Cubs very badly, leaving them outside in the rain, snow, storms, etc. I used a LOT of PbBlaster to get the spindles out of my mower deck so I could check the bearings, sharpen blades, etc. Again, welcome, and ask any question about anything Cub cadet related where you need help. Someone here will have the correct answer. There is a depth of knowledge and experience here you will not find anywhere else, from the IH original model through the current MTD made machines. |
Welcome to OCC! If your lucky you'll have another 3 in a couple months;)

For what it's worth, my 100 after it took some of it apart.
