1772 disconnect clutch

I was wondering if the disconnect clutch on the driveshaft should have any lubrication after cleaning, or reassembled dry? What lube should be used?thanks

I would leave it on the workbench. I think those things give the driveline a lot more vibration. But maybe they are needed north of the Mason Dixon line.:biggrin2:

What Todd said. The 1782's don't have the clutch.

Did you make a new driveshaft, or just drill the orig. one for the rear adapter to pin fast? I know they sure crank over better in the cold with the clutch installed,I've had both w/and w-o clutches. without the clutch it's hard to get started below 20 degrees.

Anybody want to part with an unwanted clutch?:bigthink::biggrin2:
