129 PTO clutch?????

I bought a new, thicker clutch disc off ebay, no adjustment tool. How would I do this without the proper tool/gauge?

thanks

Good luck! You can do it, but it would require a lot of trial and error. It's best to put in a want ad on the site for the adjustment tool and see if someone can mail you one. It requires the gauge to operate properly.

You need the gauge for proper adjustment, maybe someone on here has one to send you like Daniel said.

I think this is the gauge for the PTO with the pins sticking out of the hub.

Looks like the one for a narrow frame. I am told the 129 is a wide frame.

Agreed BUT the PTO's interchange on the various engines. My first 125 had a 6 pin PTO .My 122 came with a smooth PTO.

You do need the correct kit for the PTO. ( either smooth or 6 pins)

I found a site with the tools listed, but they say they lost everything in a fire and are restocking. Any other leads on locating the tool?
And for some reason I can't copy that image to make a tool.

So yours should have the pins coming out of the face/front and springs that over lap the front edge correct?
