Rescued a couple more

Picked up a 105 and an 800 Friday night after work. Had been emailing and texting a husband and wife that said these were in their horse pasture. I've been on the hunt for an 800 for a while. Spent almost 2 hours with my dad who was in town again to visit, digging them out and using my four wheeler and winch to get them plus cut a couple trees down that had grown in front of them. needless to say they are both pretty rough but 105 has hydraulic pump option and 800 has brinley adapter, spring assist and some weird wheel weights I haven't seen yet. Both supposedly ran 5 years ago but bummed that 800 is missing all the hard to find stuff. No muffler box, wrong muffler, no air cleaner, big starter, and no side panels BUT it is an 800 and is a start, always wanted a q/l and why not start with an 800. Was just after the 800 but ended up getting both for $350 so I think i did ok they have just sat under some trees for quite some time but i will see whats going on after i pressure wash them. The 105 deck is swiss cheese and both were sunk about 6 inches in the ground in the woods. I feel crazy sometimes justifying why I do this but then i come here and feel normal! Here's a couple pics, Mike

Glad that you saved 2 more.....2 more that are certainly worth saving, too!!! You got them for a nice price and I bet that if you had a chance to do it again, you would and without reservation. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your work in progress.

Nice find Mike. Some powerwashing and they will look like new.
What is the pump going on?

Thanks man, not sure. Thinking I may part out the 105, k241 said to be ok, am going to get it running to find out. I'm sure there's someone looking for a hydro lift for a NF although the handle is missing everything else seems to be there. I'm going to test it first to find out. Although, knowing me, the second I work on it I'm going to want to fix it all and spend all kinds of money that I don't have. I really wanted a q/l and have enough narrow frames for my liking but again, I know me and my craziness. I need a lot of quiet line parts now though too :beerchug:
