Salvation Army 1250 find but to late :(
1 Attachment(s)
We have a local Salvation Army "As Is" store in my area that I visit on a regular basis, on Thursday much to my surprise I saw a nice looking 1250 outside, walking up to it I kept saying to myself "it's sold", sure enough when I got to it I saw the sold sticker. I went inside and asked the lady who's always there how long was it there and her response was " not long at all" and the of course I asked how much she sold it for and she answered $100/// my heart sank! I missed out on a great little find!

Sorry, you missed out on the 1250. It went for a good price.

You may ask the lady to call you next time....

You could even leave your contact information and ask her to pass it on to the new owner and write on your contact information that you are "VERY INTERESTED" in the cub and to "CONTACT YOU IF THEY WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A PROFIT ON IT ALREADY!". When they come to pick it up (if they haven't already done so yet), she could give it to them and maybe things will work out your way after all. You know how much they gave for it, so even at double their money, you would have a really nice deal!

Ugh, I know that sinking feeling!
Early on in my Cub search I missed on a nice 149 with all kinds of attachments for just a few hundred bucks and it was just down the road a few miles!! :bash2: |
