Got my creeper gear!
Just bought a creeper gear for my 108 :biggrin2: The unit was setup for a NF and I plan to put it on my 108. Are there any after market shifter handles that you would recommend? The seller has an extension that looks like it will work just fine but I want to see what other options are around. Also, is it necessary to change the vent pipe from the NF to the WF one?

I put NF creepers in both my 108 and my 148 custom. Fabricated handle extensions to fit.

Excellent and thank you for the pics. Now did you change this vent pipe? Not even sure what that is so I'll have to check out a parts diagram. How about the drive shaft. Are the NF and WF shorter drive shaft the same length? The seller included this with the deal so I was hoping to use it rather then cut my full length one. Thank you again :)

You will have to cut the one on your 108.
the nf one is an inch shorter. |
Bummer :bash2:
Well I guess I can just keep that NF drive shaft for when I buy a NF from you and want to add a creeper to it :bigthink: |
It's easy enough to make a drive shaft--get a piece of 5/8 steel rod from HD or Lowes, and drill your own holes. Use your shaft as a template. Only tools I think you need are a center punch, 1/4 drill bit and, preferably, a drill press.

Congrats on getting a creeper!:beer2:

Congrats I love the creeper in my 108. Just missing a knob but its awesomely slow. Are you running a blower or tiller or just wanting to creep?
