Restoring a '71 106
Hey guys,
I was given an old 106 when I was in school and used it to mow the lawn the entire time I was in high school. After school I went into the air force and my dad never used my cub to cut the grass because he is a john deere guy so my tractor sat for about 5 years. I recently got out of the service and returned to school but I wanted a project so I decided to restore my trusty old cub. Ive got it torn down and ready to be cleaned and repainted but the site I was going to be buying all the gaskets and new shear pins had a fire at their store and is offline until further notice. :bash2: Do any of you know of good places to buy everything I will need? I appreciate any help y'all can give me. |
thank you for your service and thanks for helping out that old cub

:Welcome2: and thanks for your service:beerchug:
You can also get the gaskets and many other parts from your local Cub Cadet dealer. Pictures are a plus around here:bigthink: |
Air Force is the way to go. I joined back in 69 and one of my twin sons did the same, the other went Navy. I think it really helps when you are young.
Thanks for your service also. :American Flag 1: |
I noticed the same thing on that website last night. I hope they get everything back together soon. Thank you for your service and be sure to post pictures
